About The Position
We are seeking a Medical Oncologist for a Locum Tenens position at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Greenville, SC. This role involves clinical duties and call coverage from November 2, 2026, to January 29, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The average daily patient volume is 25 for outpatient and 20 for inpatient. The case mix includes benign hematology, malignant oncology, bone marrow transplants, and tumor board participation. The facility uses the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Active SC License
- Active DEA Certification
- BLS certification
- Clean background
- EPIC proficiency
Responsibilities
- Participate in Tumor Board meetings
- Manage bone marrow transplants
- Oversee blood bank operations
- Order and interpret tests and images
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
