About The Position

This position is based in a high-volume call center environment and focuses on medical billing support, including handling patient inquiries, insurance questions, and account resolution over the phone. Under general supervision, responsible for performing any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary insurance data for use in preparing statements to patients' insurance carriers. May prepare notices to patients of amount expected (or received) from insurance and amount expected from patient.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume call center environment
• Medical billing support experience
• Ability to handle patient inquiries
• Ability to answer insurance questions
• Ability to resolve accounts over the phone
• Proficiency in routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties
• Experience obtaining primary insurance data
• Experience preparing statements to patients' insurance carriers
• Experience preparing notices to patients of amount expected (or received) from insurance and amount expected from patient
