About The Position
The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Florida-based Medical Malpractice Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as Florida Medical Malpractice Paralegal
- Full understanding of FL medical malpractice law and process
Responsibilities
- Discovery/response experience
- Strong drafting experience
- Proactive case management/calendaring/e-filing experience
- Communicating with all parties/courts/strong follow-up
- Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Benefits
