About The Position

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to work third shift (nights) in the clinical laboratory. The position performs laboratory tests, interprets results, and documents and reports results. It also maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or biology/chemical science, or an associate degree in medical technology.
ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification.

Perform laboratory tests.
