Vitalant is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I or Medical Lab Generalist dedicated to making a positive difference. You will manage reagents, supplies, and inventory, input patient data, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Medical Lab Generalist: Must have a Bachelor's degree that meets CLIA requirements (medical sciences, chemistry or biology).
- Medical Lab Scientist: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science OR have a Bachelor's degree with ASCP Medical Lab Scientist or Blood Bank certification.
- No experience required.
- New Grads welcome!
Responsibilities
- Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
- Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents.
- Manage reagents, supplies, and inventory.
- Input patient data.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
