About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital is hiring a Medical Lab Technician for its Laboratory Services team. The role performs routine testing across multiple laboratory sections and helps deliver accurate, reliable diagnostic results that support patient care. It includes frequent computer work and instrument handling, with occasional light lifting. The position does not provide direct patient care but involves handling sensitive health information and daily occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and laboratory hazards.

The technician maintains and troubleshoots instruments, completes quality control procedures, manages laboratory supplies and equipment, and participates in education and performance improvement initiatives. The role supports a safe, compliant work environment through regular attendance and teamwork.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in science.
• Strong attention to detail and technical skill, with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely with biological and chemical materials.

Nice To Haves

• MLT certification through ASCP or AMT.
