About The Position

Wilson Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a PRN Medical Lab Technician to perform common laboratory testing procedures and report results. The role also performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, conducts quality control testing, and maintains supplies needed to perform tests. The position requires an associate’s degree in science and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Hospital experience and MLT certification through ASCP or AMT are preferred. The technician should be able to think critically, exercise decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, respond appropriately in a stressful environment, and communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in science.
