About The Position

Proactive Health is hiring a part-time Mobile Patient Onboarding Specialist, referred to as a Medical Equipment Technician, to serve patients in the Payson, Arizona area. The role involves traveling from home to patients’ homes to install health-monitoring devices, help patients and their families learn to use them, and complete digital onboarding. The position pays $22 per hour, with paid driving time between patient visits, a company fuel card, and a $100 vehicle maintenance stipend. The company provides a tablet, uniform shirts, equipment, paid training, and medical, vision, dental, and life insurance plans.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a valid driver’s license, active personal auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
Have a clean driving record and be able to pass a standard background check.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, particularly when speaking with older adults.
Be comfortable using tablets and smartphone apps and pairing devices through Bluetooth or cellular connections.

Nice To Haves

Background as a Medical Assistant (MA), CNA, Phlebotomist, Home Health Aide, or in DME delivery.
Customer service or retail technology support experience, such as Geek Squad.

Responsibilities

Travel to scheduled patient visits throughout the assigned territory.
Unbox, plug in, test, and install cellular biometric monitoring equipment, including sleep mats, blood pressure cuffs, and weight scales.
Explain everyday device use to elderly patients and family members with patience and warmth.
Complete an initial digital intake questionnaire covering basic health history, active conditions, and current medications.
Provide troubleshooting support visits and collect equipment when a patient concludes service.
Accurately document visit notes and patient status in the mobile app.
