About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Multisite Medical Director serving Liberty Correctional Institution in Bristol, Calhoun Correctional Institution in Blountstown, and Franklin Correctional Institution in Carrabelle, Florida. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Medical Director provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements, directs patient care, and clinically supervises medical staff at the assigned sites under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. In collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA), the role helps ensure that medical services are efficient and clinically appropriate. The Medical Director also participates in committees, including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics, as requested.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Active and unrestricted MD/DO license, or the ability to obtain one.
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration, or the ability to obtain it.
Ability to pass credentialing and a background check.
