Medical Director - Worthington Woods Animal Care Center

Western Veterinary PartnersColumbus, OH
$150,000 - $170,000Onsite

About The Position

Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced DVM to lead our fun, hardworking clinical team! The Medical Director role combines hands on patient care with leadership of our DVM team and medical support staff. In collaboration with our hospital management team, the medical director is responsible for providing excellent patient and client care, mentoring associate veterinarians, and maintaining our positive, team-centric culture. After 30 plus years building the practice, our founder, Dr. James Miller is preparing for a slower pace! He doesn’t plan to “ride off into the sunset” upon your hire, but instead, he would love to work in tandem with an incoming DVM/Medical Director to ensure a smooth transition and support as you settle into the role. Our business is THRIVING. We have a consistent review average of over 4.8 stars on Google. You are stepping into a role to maintain excellence, not to put out fires. Our support team is tenured and skilled. Collectively, our RVT’s have an average of ten years employed at Worthington Woods. They are highly skilled and competent, allowing our DVM’s to fully focus on their role instead of setting catheters, drawing labs, etc.. Our DVM team is awesome (no, we aren’t biased). They regularly collaborate, problem solve, and support each other’s growth. In our practice, we believe that investing in our team and workplace yields better medicine. We are actively growing and investing in our practice! We are finishing an expansion/remodel creating an additional treatment area and more exam rooms. In this role, you will have the space and support to grow.
