The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center (MSAHC) provides care and wellness for young people through high-quality, comprehensive, integrated, and confidential services at its main center and school-based health facilities, at no cost to them. The MSAHC aims to advance adolescent and young adult health as a national imperative by serving as a leading center for clinical care, specialized training, innovative research, and advocacy. The School Based Health Center (SBHC) Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the operations of the School-Based Health Center program. This role works collaboratively with MSAHC Deputy Medical Directors to ensure that medical services at the MSAHC School Based Health Centers are developed and managed in accordance with MSAHC’s mission, strategic direction, and business position. The SBHC Medical Director will direct the activities of the medical and mental health staff and ensure that services are delivered in accordance with Mount Sinai’s policies and procedures, New York State regulations and guidelines, funder guidelines, and established best practices in adolescent medicine. In conjunction with the Deputy Medical Directors of the MSAHC, the SBHC Medical Director will establish, approve, and implement policies related to the provision of medical services within the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center School Based Health Centers.
