About The Position

Mount Sinai Health System is recruiting an energetic, clinically oriented, full-time General Pediatrician to join the General Pediatrics Faculty Practice Associates at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, New York. The role is primarily outpatient general pediatrics and also includes rounding on newborns in the Well Baby Nursery.

The position is suited to a pediatrician with a strong interest in medical education or quality improvement and in working with medical students and residents. There is also an opportunity to become involved in the medical school and/or hospital. The faculty practice is part of a health system offering family-centered care, personalized treatment plans, multidisciplinary care, and access to clinical, translational, and basic biomedical research.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of a three-year ACGME-approved Pediatric residency program.
• New York State Medical License.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
• Meet eligibility requirements for an appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
