Medical Director - Urgent Care & Occupational Health
About The Position
Independent Health System seeks an Occupational Health & Urgent Care Medical Director to work in Findlay, OH. This is a hybrid clinical/leadership role within a nonprofit, physician-led health system. The position involves 80% clinical practice and 20% administrative leadership. The clinical split is 50% Urgent Care and 30% Occupational Health. Occupational medicine services include work-related injury care, occupational physicals, and return-to-work evaluations. Medical Director duties include developing clinical policies/protocols, overseeing quality initiatives and OPPE processes, collaborating with and supporting APPs, training and onboarding new providers, and partnering with operational leaders on service line goals.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board certification appropriate to Occupational Medicine
- MRO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred
Responsibilities

Benefits
- Base salary: $300,000
- Signing bonus: $100,000, paid $50,000 in Year 1 and $50,000 in Year 2
- $10,000 relocation assistance
- 200 hours PTO/CME (5 weeks)
