About The Position
Independent Health System seeks an Occupational Health & Urgent Care Medical Director to work in Findlay, Ohio! Join a nonprofit, physician-led health system in a hybrid clinical/leadership role. The health system is a 6-time recipient of IBM Watson Health recognition and operates a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center. The group employs over 3,000 associates and serves an eight-county area. This role offers new facilities, high retention, and physician autonomy.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree.
- Board certification appropriate to Occupational Medicine.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities
- Develop clinical policies and protocols.
- Oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes.
- Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Train and onboard new providers.
- Partner with operational leaders on service line goals.
- Provide 50% Urgent Care and 30% Occupational Health clinical practice.
- Manage work-related injury care, occupational physicals, and return-to-work evaluations.
Benefits
- Base salary: $300,000
- Signing bonus: $100,000
- Relocation assistance: $10,000
- 200 hours PTO/CME (5 weeks)
- $5,000 annual CME and board certification allowance
