About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Medical Director to lead a well-established pathology practice serving a large regional medical center on Florida's Gulf Coast. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a board-certified pathologist with strong expertise in general surgical pathology and a passion for collaboration, clinical excellence, and quality patient care. As Medical Director, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a modern hospital environment that offers a diverse case mix and advanced specialty services.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Minimum of three years of hospital-based pathology experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in General Surgical Pathology
• Strong proficiency in Clinical pathology interpretations
• Strong proficiency in Frozen section procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, hospital staff, laboratory personnel, and referring providers
• Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain one

Nice To Haves

• Subspecialty training or expertise in Breast Pathology or Lung Pathology is a plus!
• FCVS participation is a plus
