About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist to join a well-established pathology practice serving a large regional healthcare system in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team providing high-quality diagnostic services across a broad range of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The ideal candidate will have experience in breast pathology, general surgical pathology, and frozen sections while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. This position supports a large regional acute care hospital that serves a rapidly growing community within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The hospital offers advanced specialty services including trauma care, women's services, neonatal intensive care, graduate medical education, and a broad range of surgical specialties. The pathology practice provides a diverse case mix and works closely with physicians across multiple disciplines in a collaborative, high-quality environment.

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong proficiency in Breast Pathology
  • Strong proficiency in General Surgical Pathology
  • Strong proficiency in Clinical pathology interpretations
  • Strong proficiency in Frozen section procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years of practice experience
  • Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic services across a broad range of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Perform frozen section procedures.
  • Provide clinical pathology interpretations.
  • Sign out approximately 7,000 surgical pathology cases annually at the primary practice location.
  • Contribute to additional affiliated case volume from a neighboring hospital.
  • Share frozen section coverage across multiple practice locations.
  • Participate in centralized case sign-out.
