Medical Device Assembler
About The Position
Volt is hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Westford, Massachusetts. This role produces high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell by assembling devices and related components, inspecting and measuring assemblies, testing units, correcting defects, and packaging completed products. The work follows specified and standardized procedures and is closely and continuously reviewed. The assembler also maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation related to cell operations and functions. This is a full-time contract opportunity on the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay range is $20.00–$21.50 per hour. Benefits are available based on eligibility.
Requirements
- Medical device assembly experience, including small-part assembly and cleanroom experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
- Assemble medical devices and related components.
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurements of components and assemblies.
- Test units using computerized testing equipment.
- Repair and correct devices and components using applicable tools.
- Package completed devices, ensuring all parts are accurate and required documentation is complete.
- Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures.
- Ensure documentation related to cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
