About The Position
MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company that partners with healthcare organizations to transport medical supplies, specimens, and other materials. The Medical Driver, also referred to as a Logistics Service Representative, safely transports lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle. The role is based in Richmond, California, and offers a Monday–Friday overnight shift from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., at $20.00–$20.75 per hour. MedSpeed provides training through its Blue Shirt Certified program and identifies opportunities for career advancement. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 19 years of age and an active driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
- Excellent driving history.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with and adaptability to technology.
- Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and lift items off storage racks.
- Comfort with walking and standing for long periods.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on location and local mandates.

Responsibilities
- Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport medical and related materials.
- Load and unload the vehicle using appropriate equipment.
- Use a handheld scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
- Follow operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
- Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, neat, and orderly.
- Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
- Help build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
