About The Position

Injury Management Organization, Inc. is hiring a full-time Medical Data Entry Processor in Plano, Texas. This hybrid role supports the accuracy of workers’ compensation claims by entering information from medical records and reviewing records for completeness and accuracy. Employees complete 6–9 weeks of in-office training before becoming eligible for the hybrid schedule. Applicants must reside in the Dallas, Texas area. After an offer is extended and accepted, the successful applicant must undergo a background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in medical terminology.
• Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-9/10 codes.
• Skilled in examining medical records for completeness and accuracy.
• Ten-key data entry by touch.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must reside within the Dallas, Texas area.

Nice To Haves

• Workers’ compensation experience is preferred.
• Some college is preferred.
