Medical Courier Part-Time (Weekend)
About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is hiring a part-time Medical Courier for a weekend route in Irving, Texas. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with 12-hour shifts. The courier picks up, transports, and delivers medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route, helping ensure diagnostic materials reach their destinations accurately and on time. The role involves interacting professionally with healthcare and laboratory staff, operating a company-provided non-CDL vehicle, and using mobile technology to track deliveries. The position requires careful specimen handling and documentation, compliance with applicable safety and privacy standards, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stay active during much of the shift. Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Provide documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.
- Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.

- Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.

- Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
