About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a part-time Medical Courier in Wilkes Barre Township, Pennsylvania. The courier transports medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route, helping ensure diagnostic testing reaches patients quickly, safely, and accurately. This is an independent, mobile role involving professional communication with healthcare and laboratory staff, use of a company-provided non-CDL vehicle, and mobile tools to track deliveries. The position is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pay starts at $17.75 per hour, and external applicants may be eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Annual performance bonus eligibility may also apply.

Requirements

Hold a valid driver's license and have at least three years of driving experience.
Provide a Motor Vehicle Record showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
Have strong customer service and communication skills.
Demonstrate attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
Be able to work independently and solve problems on the road.
Be comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
Be able to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route.
Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure timely deliveries.
Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
