About The Position

Rapid Medical is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Medical Courier (1099). This role involves transporting medical specimens between Longmont and Denver, ensuring careful handling and proper temperature maintenance. The position utilizes a tech-forward approach with a dedicated driver app for navigation, scheduling, and support. This is an independent contractor role with opportunities for bonuses and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Active vehicle insurance.
• Satisfactory driving record (MVR).
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Satisfactory background check and MVR review are required for all contractor engagements.

Nice To Haves

• Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
• Contact dispatch immediately if any items appear damaged, improperly packaged, or incorrect.
