About The Position

Rapid Medical is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Courier (1099) for a route operating between Longmont and Westminster. This is a part-time, contract position with a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The route covers approximately 65 miles and offers an all-inclusive rate per route, factoring in mileage, drive time, and expenses. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own self-employment taxes, and a 1099-NEC will be issued for payments made. We provide a branded shirt and bag, comprehensive onboarding, and real-time dispatch support.

Requirements

Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred).
Valid driver's license.
Active vehicle insurance.
Satisfactory driving record (MVR).
Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Must be 21+ years old.
Satisfactory background check and MVR review are required for all contractor engagements.

Nice To Haves

Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.
Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Responsibilities

Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
Contact dispatch immediately if any items appear damaged, improperly packaged, or incorrect.
