About The Position

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a Medical Courier running a route from Hurley to Newburgh. The route is approximately 98 miles and is scheduled for Monday through Friday, with a start time of 6:29 PM and an estimated duration of about 3 hours. Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Active vehicle insurance
• Satisfactory driving record (MVR)
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be 21+ years old
• Satisfactory background check and MVR review

Responsibilities

• Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
• Contact dispatch immediately if any issues arise with packaging or the condition of items.
