Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This position involves a specific route from Middletown to Newburgh, operating Monday through Friday with evening hours. The role requires careful handling of specimens and utilizing a driver app for navigation and proof of delivery.
Requirements
- Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Active insurance
- Satisfactory driving record (MVR)
- Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- 21+ years old
- Satisfactory background check
- Satisfactory MVR review
Nice To Haves
- Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience
Responsibilities
- Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
- Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
- Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
- Contact dispatch immediately if any specimens appear damaged, improperly packaged, or off.
