About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a Medical Courier I to join its team in Miami, Florida. The position is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports while providing excellent client service. The role uses a company vehicle and a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups. Employees may optionally take the vehicle home and use it personally for $125 per month.

Requirements

• No education or experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be punctual and have strong time-management skills.
• Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Be able to problem-solve customer issues.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year or more of driver or courier experience.
• One year or more of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load the supplies needed for daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle specimens and laboratory samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work with the dispatcher to handle additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
