About The Position

Brown & Joseph, part of ARMStrong Insurance Services, is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support its growing team. The role follows up with policyholders about outstanding invoice balances, primarily by phone and occasionally by email. It also involves answering billing questions, resolving problems, and supporting the internal recovery department.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Computer skills and ability to keyboard 45 words per minute.
• Strong English communication and telephone skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organization.

Nice To Haves

• Telephone experience in collections or customer service.
• Background in the insurance industry.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Electronically review insurance policies and claims to identify balances due from policyholders.
• Make follow-up calls about invoices and outstanding balances, using some email communication as needed.
• Answer questions and resolve problems concerning current or past billings and previously billed invoices.
• Support the internal recovery department.
