About The Position
The Medical Coding Adjunct Instructor teaches academic courses online, advises students, and assists faculty with program administration as needed. Compensation is $73.23 per credit hour.
Requirements
- An associate degree and at least 8 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting will be considered.
- Hold a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential.
- Have current knowledge of and ability to navigate the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding systems.
- Demonstrate clear and concise communication, both orally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting are preferred.
