About The Position

The Medical Call Center Representative greets and screens patient calls, routes calls to the appropriate staff, and schedules appointments. The role communicates with providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other staff about patient requests, including medication refills, lab requests, and radiology requests. It also provides support to Medical Records and the Call Center as needed and performs other clerical duties. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multitask, are required; medical experience is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask.
