Medical Business Associate - Radiology
About The Position
As a Medical Business Associate within the Radiology Department, you serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, helping create a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience from the moment they arrive. Your professionalism, communication, and attention to detail play an important role in supporting exceptional patient care throughout the imaging process. In this role, you will obtain and verify all required patient demographics and complete check in process for radiology exams. You will help set the tone for each patient visit by greeting patients professionally in person and over the phone, responding compassionately and effectively to patient and family needs, and supporting a smooth and positive radiology experience.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required
- Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems
Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify all required patient demographics
- Complete check-in process for radiology exams
- Greet patients professionally in person and over the phone
