About The Position

Passport Health is North America's leading provider of travel medicine and immunization services, operating more than 300 clinics throughout the United States and Canada. We specialize in preventive healthcare, including travel consultations, immunizations, workplace flu clinics, and immigration medical services. As we prepare for our busy seasonal season, we're looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Medical Billing team. This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organization. This is a temporary/seasonal role from September to November.

Requirements

• Organized, dependable, and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to support a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical billing experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Responsibilities

• Accurately post patient charges into billing systems
• Post payments and reconcile billing transactions
• Scan, organize, and maintain medical and billing documentation
• Track, organize, and securely dispose of event paperwork
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring patient confidentiality
• Assist with additional billing and administrative projects as needed
