About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to scrub claims and correct coding denials, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role supports the integrity of coding processes and revenue cycle management. The position requires Monday–Friday availability and candidates must be based in the United States and not require sponsorship.

Requirements

• Availability to work Monday through Friday.
• FQHC experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Knowledge of NextGen, claim scrubbing, AR follow-up, payment posting, FQHC, and behavioral health.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Must be based in the United States and not require sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Texas Medicaid experience is a plus.
• Medicare follow-up proficiency is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and scrub medical claims for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Analyze coding denials and make necessary adjustments to correct them.
• Ensure compliance with relevant coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to resolve coding issues and improve processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding updates, regulations, and best practices.
• Generate reports on coding denials and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to staff on coding practices and procedures as needed.
