About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Elmbrook Medical Arts Center in Brookfield, WI. This part-time, day shift role involves assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, including examinations, treatments, and clinical duties. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for interviewing patients to record medical history and vital signs, preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, ordering and stocking medical supplies, and managing clerical tasks such as phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Medical students looking for work in their gap year.
Certified MA or LPN preferred.
