About The Position

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The role performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs and functions for the assigned clinic or work location. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. This Medical Assistant position is part of the Float Pool at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants; or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; or at least one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
At least 6 months of healthcare experience.
At least 6 months of medical assistant experience.
