About The Position

The Medical Assistant Float Pool role is based at Ascension Menasha Midway Office Building in Menasha, Wisconsin. This full-time variable-schedule position works days and supports clinic operations by assisting with patient care and administrative tasks. The Medical Assistant prepares examination rooms, interviews patients, measures vital signs, and documents care records. The role also assists physicians and registered nurses with ordered treatments and clinical procedures, handles phone inquiries and records, and manages inventory and supplies to help maintain an efficient, clean, safe, and organized care environment.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document care records to support accurate clinical assessments.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses with ordered treatments and clinical procedures.
• Manage administrative tasks, including phone inquiries, record keeping, and filing.
• Coordinate inventory ordering and supply stocking to maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
