About The Position

A Medical Assistant is an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. The MA helps patients feel at ease and collaborates with the provider throughout the patient’s visit. The role requires maintaining basic life support certification and compliance with organizational education, licensure, and certification requirements. The Medical Assistant may cross-train to provide services across sites and float as needed to support optimal clinic operations. This position is onsite at the NE-Lakefront Campus facility in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, with a 0.9 FTE schedule of 36 standard hours per week, working four days per week on Shift 1. Weekends and holidays are not required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an MA program, LPN program, or EMT-Basic course; or one year of on-the-job MA training; or completion of an MA Apprenticeship program.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification, or an AHA-approved equivalent, within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of healthcare experience preferred.
