About The Position

The Regional Float Medical Assistant provides patient care support to various ambulatory clinics within the regulatory scope of practice. Assignment locations vary according to business needs and may be in Los Angeles or Orange County. Assignments may last from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the need for supplemental coverage.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant diploma required.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of back-office experience preferred.
• Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Urgent Care preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support to various ambulatory clinics within the regulatory scope of practice.
• Work at varying clinic locations in Los Angeles or Orange County, with assignment length determined by supplemental coverage needs.
