About The Position

Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant. Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with our Float Pool. This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Participants will receive comprehensive training in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Body Systems, Pharmacology, Medication Administration, Patient Safety & Infection Control, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, and Customer Service & Patient Care Excellence. This is an intensive full-time training program. Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort. Participants must successfully complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic-based training requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition directly into a full-time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at their assigned home clinic.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification.

Responsibilities

Participate in a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program.
Complete classroom instruction and skills development.
Engage in hands-on clinical training with an instructor.
Undergo orientation and training within an assigned home clinic alongside a Success Coach.
Transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group upon successful completion of the program.
Deliver exceptional patient care as part of a primary care team.
