About The Position

CareATC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a health center setting. The Medical Assistant supports providers and helps ensure smooth clinic operations, with a focus on excellent patient care, communication, and concierge-level customer service. CareATC’s care model is designed to let clinical staff focus on patients rather than traditional fee-for-service demands.

This is a full-time position scheduled for 38 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, on-call duties, or holiday schedules. The listed hours are Tuesday 7 a.m.–5 p.m., Wednesday 5:30 a.m.–4 p.m., Thursday 7 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Clinic and medication are available to employees and dependents at low or no cost. Eligible roles include a full benefits package, and telehealth services are available at no cost starting on the first day of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least one year of recent experience in a medical setting, or entry through an approved CareATC internship or school-sponsored externship program.
• Excellent patient care skills, strong communication, and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Maintain clean examination rooms.
• Obtain blood and urine samples.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
• Complete clerical responsibilities that support smooth clinic operations.
• Exercise good clinical judgment within the scope of the role, with or without the provider present.
• Follow clinical and clerical protocols in accordance with company policy.
