About The Position
Medical Assistant role in a high-volume outpatient clinic seeing more than 100 patients per day across 15 providers. The role requires recent venipuncture expertise, including drawing 1–5 vials of blood from every patient, Epic experience, and willingness to work with pediatric patients. The position requires floating to Playa Vista IM/FM. Scheduling requests can be accommodated; no requested time off is allowed during the first two weeks.
Requirements
- Two years of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Flu vaccination; declinations and exemptions are not accepted.
- Recent experience and expertise with venipuncture.
- Epic experience.
- Willingness to work with pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Draw 1–5 vials of blood from every patient using venipuncture.
- Float to Playa Vista IM/FM.
- Work with pediatric patients.
