About The Position
Medical Assistant position based at 8635 W. 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048, with floating to Los Feliz OBGYN as needed. The schedule is an 8-hour shift occurring between 0600 and 1800. Weekend work is not required. Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. A separate requisition is available for local candidates. A secondary OBGYN questionnaire is required and will be sent at the time of submission.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
- One year of experience in OBGYN.
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
- Flu vaccination; declinations and exemptions are not accepted.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
- Complete a secondary OBGYN questionnaire, which will be sent at the time of submission.
Responsibilities
- Float to Los Feliz OBGYN as needed.
- Perform blood and lab draws and venipuncture.
