About The Position

The Medical Assistant II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties that assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The role includes all aspects of the Medical Assistant I position and requires full competence in the clinical needs and functions of the assigned clinic or work location. The Medical Assistant II is expected to work in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on clinical training for medical assistants; or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; or at least one year of medical assistant work experience that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
At least 6 months of healthcare experience.
At least 6 months of medical assistant experience.
