About The Position

Ascension Richmond Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Family Practice department in Appleton, WI. This full-time, day shift position involves supporting patient healing by executing physician-ordered treatments and clinical duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The role includes documenting patient care through thorough intake interviews, measuring vital signs, and recording information. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will ensure operational readiness by preparing and maintaining treatment and examination rooms, and will lead efficient clinic workflow by managing administrative functions, ordering and stocking supplies, and handling clerical tasks such as responding to patient inquiries.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse experience desired.

Lead efficient clinic workflow by managing administrative functions, including ordering and stocking vital supplies, and handling essential clerical tasks such as responding to patient inquiries.
