Medical Assistant- Pain
About The Position
Bone & Joint is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Pain Management team. The role works with interventional providers in a fast-paced environment to help improve patients’ lives. Training is provided, with routine check-ins to support continued learning. The primary duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs and health histories, reporting relevant information to the treating provider, and assisting with the plan of care. Bone & Joint provides orthopedic, pain management, podiatric, physical therapy, and occupational therapy services at multiple locations throughout Central Wisconsin. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Previous experience or education in Medical Assisting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Room patients.
- Take patients’ vital signs and health histories.
- Provide concise reports to the treating provider.
- Assist with the plan of care.
