Medical Assistant - Oncology

About The Position
The Medical Assistant will work in an outpatient cancer center. The position does not require administrative work or front-desk coverage, though the Medical Assistant may need to answer internal calls. The Medical Assistant may float between the Cancer Center and Breast Center, which are connected by a shared hallway.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- One of the following medical assistant certifications: CMA (AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, or NHA).
Responsibilities
- Provide medical assistant support in the outpatient Cancer Center.
- Answer internal calls as needed.
- Float between the Cancer Center and Breast Center as needed.
