About The Position

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care activities and assists providers and nursing staff in maintaining the highest standard of care. The role is also responsible for restocking supplies in the work area and maintaining a safe working environment. This is a full-time position of 80 hours per two-week pay period, with typical hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Skill in taking vital signs.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing and procedures, such as x-rays and non-waived testing.
