About The Position

The Interventional Cardiology-HOPD Medical Assistant (MA) is a full-time, day-shift role in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
Graduation from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school or program.
Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
