Requirements

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant (MA) Program and eligible to be Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Willingness and ability to work and travel between all five clinic locations in Vadnais Heights, Woodbury, Eagan, and Lakeville, MN and Hudson, WI.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • BLS or CPR certified or willingness to become certified.
  • A resident of Minnesota/Western Wisconsin or in the process of relocating to Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine office procedures safely and effectively.
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance of the laboratory area and equipment logs.
  • Collects updated patient information and charts patient exams in the EMR within the time parameters of the patient appointment.
  • Handles patients’ private health information within the guidelines of HIPAA and company privacy practices.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed.
  • Assist other healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor medical procedures.
  • Provide patient education materials and communicate physician advice/instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
