About The Position
The Electrophysiology Medical Assistant (MA) is a full-time, day-shift role in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks in a clinic-based environment. The MA works as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 may be available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant or medical technologist school/program.
- Prior experience supporting patient care in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
