About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking a Medical Assistant for a client in Pasadena, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment working a day schedule of five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position involves work in an outpatient OB/GYN clinic and requires proficiency with fetal heart tones, blood and laboratory draws, venipuncture, and EPIC. Floating is required, weekends are not required, and scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Pay is $28 per hour for local candidates and $30–$35 per hour for travelers.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
- OB/GYN experience required.
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Flu vaccination required; declinations and exemptions are not accepted.
- Fetal heart tone experience or proficiency.
- Proficiency with blood and laboratory draws and venipuncture.
- Proficiency with EPIC.
- Must be willing to float.
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated.
